Mechanical dock levelers by McGuire can be easily positioned in the trailer by pulling the release chain near the rear of the leveler. No manual lifting is required. The lip extends automatically and the leveler can be “walked down” into position. A multi-spring counterbalance system provides upward bias movement, while the hold down device retains the leveler in the stored position

Rigid frame truck dock shelters are mounted directly to the building where vehicles back freely into them, forcing the spring-like panels to hug the sides and tops of the trailers. The shelters are designed to allow access to the full width and height of a truck interior and the door opening of the building. Shelter frameworks are protected by steel channel bumper guards.

The Posi-SeaI™ is distinguished from any other seal of its type by its ability to maintain a complete perimeter seal while allowing the use of a full-function hydraulic leveler when installed with McGuire’s Vertical Storing Hydraulic leveler (VSH). A pocket behind the bottom seal pad accommodates the leveler lip in the below-dock position.
